DAY 1 PROGRAM
At 07:00 in the morning, we are ready for our check-in procedures in front of the main entrance of KUŞADASI EGE PORT. After our passport and customs procedures, we board our ferry departing at 08:15. After an approximately 1-hour pleasant journey, we arrive at the port of Vathi on Samos Island. After our passport and customs procedures, our guests hand over their luggage to our vehicle waiting for us.
Afterwards, together with our guide, we first have the chance to get acquainted closely with Pythagoras Square and the Lion statue in the center. Then, our guests who wish can meet their food (extra) and shopping needs during free time. After our tour in the city of Vathi, at the meeting point and time determined by our guide, we get into our vehicle and depart from here to settle into their hotels in the city of Karlovasi, located in the northwest of the island. Before reaching Karlovasi, during this drive along the coast, we make a short break in Agios Kostandinos, a small seaside resort at the foot of Manolates Village, to sip our coffees accompanied by the sounds of nightingales in the embrace of nature.
After our break, shortly afterwards we arrive in Karlovasi and settle into our hotel rooms.
Day 2 Program
After our breakfast at the hotel in the morning, at the time determined by our guide, we board our bus departing from in front of the hotels and set off towards the Marathokampos Region. We continue our journey on a road surrounded on one side by lush green forests and on the other by the deep blue sea. In our trip to the southwest of the island, we arrive at Kampos Bay, known for its long coastline and rich marine life. Here, our guests, accompanied by their guides, make a short visit to Platanos Village, which captivates visitors with its unique view as the highest settlement on Samos Island, after lunch (extra) and (depending on weather conditions, after the sea break). Afterwards, we head back to Karlovasi.
Day 3 Program
After breakfast at the hotel in the morning, we check out of our rooms and get ready in front of the hotel for our tour, which will begin at the time specified by our guide. Then we head toward Pythagoria, the birthplace of Pythagoras. On the way, we first visit a workshop where the famous Pythagorian cups are made and watch the production of this mathematical cup, also known as the “Cup of Justice.” We recommend that our guests who wish to buy one of these cups with their extraordinary design for themselves or as a gift. Then we pass through Pirgos Village, famous for its charming streets and lush nature. We stop at the sales store of the honey cooperative to taste Samos’s famous honeys and do some shopping. During our journey, we see the vineyards along the roads we pass and realize why the island is known as a Wine island.
Then, passing through Koumaradei Village, which is on our route and considered the island’s agricultural center, after a short journey we arrive in Pythagoria, where we panoramically see the architectural works of antiquity and Lykourgos Logothetis Castle in this tourism paradise, famous for its beautiful houses and spotless beach. In the bazaar of this lovely town, during the free time period, our guests who wish will have the opportunity to shop and enjoy coffee.
After the departure time determined by our guide, following our short panoramic capital tour by bus, we arrive in Kokari, which has the island’s most famous beaches and bears traces of Mykonos with its taverns and unique architecture. During the free time we will give in this charming town, our guests who wish will have the chance not only to have their meals by the sea (extra) but also to experience the turquoise-colored sea. After the enjoyable break we spend here, we board the bus waiting for us and continue our journey along the road surrounded by lush green forests on one side and the deep blue sea on the other, arriving at Vathi port.
After our passport and customs procedures, we board our ship departing at 17:30 and, as all beautiful things must come to an end, our trip also comes to its end, and we say goodbye in the hope of seeing each other again.
