Tour Program
Izmir - Prague
In the morning, we meet our guide in front of the Sun Express Airlines counter at the International Terminal of Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport, complete our necessary baggage and customs procedures, and take our nonstop (direct) flight. Upon arrival at Prague Václav Havel Airport, we complete our passport and luggage procedures and, with our private vehicle waiting for us, first transfer to our hotel. After check-in and preparing for the New Year celebrations in Prague city center, we meet again in the hotel lobby at the time designated by our guide and head toward the city center. The moment we step into Prague city center, we find ourselves in the enchanting atmosphere of one of Europe’s most romantic cities. We begin our tour in Prague, known as the “Golden City” for its architecture that has survived from the Middle Ages to the present, its Gothic towers, and its fairytale squares, with the Prague Christmas Markets, which turn into a true wonderland during the New Year period. In the Christmas markets set up around Old Town Square and Wenceslas Square, the heart of the city, we enjoy a pleasant walk amid colorful wooden stalls, New Year decorations, handmade gifts, traditional Czech delicacies, and the scent of mulled wine. Under the lights of the giant Christmas tree, we begin to feel the magical atmosphere of Prague and the excitement of the last day of the year. While Prague’s historic squares are filled with music and street entertainment, we bid farewell to 2026 with our loved ones, welcome 2027 with our best wishes, and enjoy an unforgettable night in this dreamlike atmosphere. After freely enjoying the evening, we reunite at the point designated by our guide and return to our hotel later in the night. Guests who wish to continue celebrating until the early hours of the morning may also return to the hotel on their own using local transportation. Overnight at our hotel in Prague.
Prague - Vltava River
On the first morning of 2027, after breakfast at our hotel, we begin our tour by taking full advantage of the city's serene post-New Year atmosphere to explore this beautiful destination. Our panoramic city tour starts with visits to the Historic Train Station, the National Museum, the State Opera House, and Wenceslas Square, before proceeding to Vyšehrad, where Prague's legendary story began. In the area where the city was founded in the 10th century, we visit St. Peter and Paul Basilica. After a photo stop, we drive along the scenic banks of the Vltava River to reach Prague Castle, which has hosted Bohemian kings, Holy Roman-German emperors, and presidents of Czechoslovakia. From the castle grounds, we admire the Old Royal Palace, the Presidential Palace, the seat of the Prague Archbishopric, and St. Vitus Cathedral—the city's cathedral, whose construction began in 1344 and spanned six centuries, serving as the coronation site for numerous kings and queens. Next on our itinerary are Alchemists' Street, St. George's Basilica, the Malá Strana (Lesser Town) district, Charles Bridge—begun in the 14th century and shaped with contributions from architect Peter Parler, adorned with statues of saints—and Johannes Kepler's House. After completing our walking tour, we will see the historic Prague Astronomical Clock (Orloj), famous for its display of the Twelve Apostles figures. You may also find the eye-catching garnets and Bohemian crystals, among the Czech Republic's most popular products, particularly interesting. Following free time, we continue our tour visiting Týn Church, the Jan Hus Monument, Kinsky Palace (where socialism was proclaimed in 1948), St. Nicholas Church, and the house where Franz Kafka was born. As we head toward the Vltava River, we observe Josefov, the Jewish Quarter known for its historic Jewish population; Straka Academy, now used by the Czech Government; and the Štefánikův, Mánes, and Čech bridges. We then proceed to the harbor for a complimentary open-buffet dinner cruise with limited drinks on the Vltava River. Guests who do not wish to join the evening program may spend their free time in the city center, enjoying their own schedule until being picked up at the time and location designated by the guide. After approximately two hours of this dreamlike river cruise, offering views of the city illuminated by Christmas lights, grand fir trees, and colorful decorations, we return to our hotel in Prague.
Prague - Karlovy Vary - Dresden
After breakfast at our hotel, we depart Prague and embark on a short journey to Karlovy Vary, the renowned spa town famous for its thermal springs and porcelain. Once a favorite destination of European society in the 18th and 19th centuries, as well as a hub for artists and politicians, it is also well known for being the place where Atatürk received treatment. Our first stop is the Rudolf's Hotel, where Atatürk stayed during his therapy. We then explore the city's unique natural beauty, admiring magnificent historic mansions built side by side, visiting the Grand Pupp Hotel—a historic venue that hosts the annual Karlovy Vary International Film Festival—and seeing the former residences of world-renowned figures such as Tsar Peter, Goethe, and Beethoven, before touring the thermal galleries. During the free time following the tour, you will have the opportunity to sample traditional Czech flavors and shop at factory outlet stores offering crystal, porcelain, garnet, and amber jewelry, along with other traditional Czech souvenirs, as well as browse Christmas stalls. Afterward, we leave Karlovy Vary and arrive in Dresden, another beautiful German city celebrated for its Baroque and Rococo architecture and often referred to as the "Florence on the Elbe." Having suffered heavy bombing during World War II, the city was largely rebuilt after the war to achieve its current appearance. Highlights include Brühl Terrace, known as the "Balcony of Europe," the Elbe River, Albertinum, the Academy of Fine Arts, Hofkirche, Semper Opera, Zwinger Palace, the Old Town Square, Frauenkirche, and the Martin Luther Monument. Upon completing the tour, we enjoy free time in the city center for shopping and dinner before checking into our hotel. Overnight stay at our hotel in Dresden.
Dresden - Berlin - Izmir
After breakfast at our hotel, we leave Dresden and head toward Berlin, the capital of Germany. After a pleasant journey, we arrive in Berlin, one of Europe’s most dynamic capitals and one of the most historically important. We tour the city by seeing the remains of the Berlin Wall, which for many years divided East and West Germany and became one of the strongest symbols of the Cold War; Checkpoint Charlie, one of the most important crossing points between East and West Berlin; Museum Island, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and regarded as one of the world’s most important museum complexes; Berlin Cathedral (Dom), one of the city’s most striking structures with its magnificent architecture; Gendarmenmarkt Square, considered one of Europe’s most elegant squares; Unter den Linden Avenue, one of Berlin’s most prestigious and historic boulevards; Brandenburg Gate, which has become a symbol of Germany’s reunification and freedom; the Reichstag Parliament Building, which houses the German Federal Parliament and stands out with its modern glass dome; and Alexanderplatz Square, one of the city’s liveliest squares. After our city tour and some free time, we transfer to Berlin Airport. Following our ticketing, baggage, and passport procedures, we depart for Izmir on our SunExpress Airlines flight. Upon arrival, our tour comes to an end, and we bid farewell until we meet again on another journey.
