## Tour Program

### Izmir - London

We meet in the international terminal of İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport in the morning, complete our passport and baggage procedures, and take our non-stop (direct) SunExpress Airlines flight to London, the world’s most visited city, where Britain’s historical, cultural, and modern fabric awaits. In this cosmopolitan city, which is remarkable for both its unforgettable historical structures and its modern buildings, we begin our tour with a panoramic introduction to the city, getting to know its general features through our guide’s commentary. At the end of our panoramic tour, we see many historical and modern landmarks such as London Bridge and Millennium Bridge, and head to Westminster Bridge near the famous Big Ben and King Charles Street. From the bridge, we enjoy a wonderful view of Big Ben and the Parliament building, listen to our guide’s explanations, and have the opportunity to photograph the historic architecture as we walk. We continue our walk along Whitehall toward Trafalgar Square and then visit the Southbank Christmas Market, set along the banks of the Thames, dazzling with its colorful lights. We see the London Eye illuminated, experience London’s Christmas atmosphere with mulled wine varieties, the scent of cinnamon, and the sparkling lights of London. After spending unforgettable time at this beautiful Christmas market, which hosts various concerts and offers global flavors from German sausages to cider in its wooden, Christmas-decorated stalls, we settle into our hotel.

### Cotswold Fairytale Christmas Villages

We start the day with breakfast at our hotel and set off with excitement for a trip where we can observe, more closely than usual, a different way of life and traditions. We are heading to the Cotswolds region, located in the southwest of England, a natural landscape and historic villages area famous for its rural beauty and comprising seven different counties (shires). Our first stop is Bibury, a small, charming village protected as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) since 1966. We begin our tour of Bibury, famous for Arlington Row, the row of historic houses, and described by William Morris as “the most beautiful village in England.” In this lovely village, where the windows and gardens of the houses are decorated during the Christmas season and the street lamps are adorned with red ribbons and pine branches, we begin our walking tour. After strolling among the decorations and shops that attract attention even from a distance, we turn our direction to another famous village. We visit Bourton-on-the-Water, known for its famous Christmas tree in the middle of the river and the photos you can take of the rows of Christmas trees made from colorful cookies lined up along the road, along with Christmas decorations. After spending enjoyable time among the river bridges, hot drink stands, and year-end decorations, we are given free time for lunch at one of the restaurants decorated in a traditional English pub style, and then we head to Stow-on-the-Wold, whose historic architecture will remind you of the old Christmas postcards you have seen. Among the Cotswolds villages, this town has the highest elevation. Upon our arrival at this town, which is renowned across the country for its large market square and antique market, we visit the 14th-century St. Edward’s Church, a church that attracts visitors with its candlelit Christmas services. You may come across the giant Christmas tree set up in the town square and the performances of the local choir singing Christmas carols nearby. In the free time we will have in this dreamlike medieval town and unforgettable Christmas atmosphere, you can buy evening snacks and pick up souvenirs from its small, charming shop decorated for Christmas. After taking souvenir photos amid the night lights, we return to our hotel. Accommodation is at our hotel in London.

### London and Christmas Markets

On our London Christmas Markets tour, after having breakfast at our hotel, we get into our vehicle and head to Greenwich Pier to explore the city from the Thames River, which divides the city in two and has been seen throughout history as its lifeline. We begin touring the Christmas market set among UNESCO heritage buildings. After visiting the Greenwich Christmas Market, where you can find stalls offering handmade jewelry, artworks, and locally produced goods, all decorated with Christmas ornaments, we start our river cruise to observe London’s Christmas atmosphere from the Thames. As we continue our tour accompanied by the different historical stories and views that greet us at every bend of the Thames, we pass the famous Tower Bridge and capture the Tower of London in our photos, then see many historic and modern landmarks such as London Bridge and Millennium Bridge, and complete our river journey at Westminster Pier, located near the famous Big Ben and King Charles Street. We then proceed to Westminster Bridge, the first stop and starting point of our walking tour. From the bridge, we enjoy a splendid view of Big Ben and the Parliament building, listen to our guide’s commentary, and have the opportunity to take photos while examining the historical architecture along our walk. Continuing through St. James’s Royal Park, famous for its pelicans and natural atmosphere, we pause to watch the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace and take souvenir photos. After these pleasant moments, following the same route, we arrive at Covent Garden in West End, London’s famous theater and entertainment district, home to artisan displays and the renowned Royal Opera House, decorated like a Christmas village. We will experience the festive atmosphere to the fullest, with street musicians, historic buildings including the 17th-century St. Paul’s Church, and entertainment venues. We will also have free time in its shops hosting famous brands. Walking along the beautifully decorated Regent and Carnaby Streets, with star-like lights all around us, we then spend our evening at Hyde Park Winter Wonderland, where London’s most famous Christmas Festival takes place. In this area filled with amusement park attractions, the spectacular ice rink remembered from Christmas-time movies, and souvenir stalls, we will have an unforgettable, dreamlike evening at our own pace with our guide’s directions, before returning to our hotel.

### London - Izmir

After breakfast at our hotel in the capital, we check out of our rooms at the end of a dreamlike tour through Christmas lights, from medieval villages and towns all the way to the capital, London, and head to the airport to take our seats on the plane for our flight back to Izmir.
